1:12. അതു നിമിത്തം തന്നേ ഞാൻ ഇതൊക്കെയും സഹിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ലജ്ജിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ ആരെ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിയുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ ഉപനിധി ആ ദിവസംവരെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ശക്തൻ എന്നു ഉറച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

1:12. Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day.

1:12. That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.

1:12. For which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.

1:12. which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me.
